What are Pikman? Aliens Do they come in Black I need to learn more these things you Call "pikman"

at least thats what i think. the game is about a guy whos ship gets hit by an asteroid. the pieces of the ship go flying. he thne finds pikmin who help him find them

Pikmin are half animal half plant who the main protagonist brings to life at the beginning of the games. There are currently 5 types of Pikmin (7 when Pikmin 3 releases) They are Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Purple. Purple are big heavy and strong and can carry 10x that of a normal Pikmin. Red are fire resistant, Blue can breathe in water, White are fast and are resistant to poison and also kill enemies that eat them by poisoning them, Yellow are resistant to electricity and can be thrown high. They live in what is called an Onion.
